Response to Blog Video

I think that the video is trying to tell everyone that we all get the same emotions when we have to give a speech. Everyone is nervous, knees are shaking, hands are clamming up. Fear is a big part of it, because everyone thinks that their speech is going to be boring, monotone and that everyone will think that it was horrible. In reality, it won't be that bad because no one stares at your hands, or your knees. As long as you don't make it blatently obvious your speech will go off without a hitch. I know that its easier said than done, but I think as long as you rehearse your speech and know that everyone else feels the same way when they give their speech, that you'll be just fine and your speech will be perfect.

This picture is my school facing another team. At the moment, I am the right guard, #70 (if you're football illiterate I'm sorry) which makes it kind of hard to see me. I'm considering uploading a highlight real of my year so far in a new post. We ended up crushing this school, 58-21... Going into the 3rd quarter it was 28-21, first play of the 4th quarter we scored a touchdown, and just kept on rolling!

Football!!!

Its kind of a big deal.. Football I mean. I am very passionate about the sport, probably because most of my family is crazy about it; and do you know what you get from that? A kid that loves every play of football he has. I never want to go out of a game, and so far I haven't in my 4 years of football. I know I don't have many games left, so I go as hard as I can trying to make every play a high light play for me. So far, I have a few big hits, but nothing like in this picture. Football, to some people is just a sport. Not to me, its a way of life! I live to play for my school, it doesn't matter what position I play, I always try to make an impact when I'm on the field!

Johns Hopkins

This is a picture of Johns Hopkins Medical School. This is special to me because I would really like to go here to recieve education about being a surgeon. If I did get accepted here, to me it would be a huge step in the right direction. If I graduated from this school, it would only allow good things to follow. My dream as of now is to be a surgeon because I want to help people, and to me the best way to help people would be to help them with anything that needed surgical attention. Another little idea of mine is to open a free clinic when I retire, if all things go the way I plan. Something like this has already been done by a man in Virginia, and they made a movie about him. I don't ask for the fame or money, I just want to help people in my community.

Indiana University

My goal after high school is to go to THE Indiana University. I plan to attend four years to get basic college out of the way. I would love to live in Bloomington, because its a big city, and I want to experience big city life. I would always go to the football games because I am a football fanatic! I think IU would be the perfect fit for me because I'm the kind of person that works hard at all aspects of school, academics and sports alike. I am willing to do anything within my power to go to this college, if I do not get accepted... I really just try not to think about that part of the equation.

Dogs!

I love dogs! My favorite type of dog is a Pitbull. Most people are scared of them because they think all Pitbulls are just vicious cold-blooded killers. The truth is, they aren't; any animal can be mean but it is the owners responsibility for making the animal that way. If you treat an animal with love and respect, that is exactly what the animal will give back to you. My dog, Max, is a Pitbull and he is probably the best dog anyone could ever ask for! He is always playful, however he is also obedient to what you say at the same time. I just wish that people would give these dogs a chance, because I know my Pitbull is very well behaved, and I love to show him off to people. Max is the best dog I have ever had!

Pear Wars!

So today after football practice, I'm supposed to hang out with my friend, Andrew. Honestly, we're probably going to do something stupid like throw random things at each other. One time we had a pear war, he had this pear tree in his back yard, and we would always pick them and try to hit each other with them. Its time like those that let you know just how much fun you can have with your best friend, even if its something that no one else would understand why you do it..
